Let’s talk about the ingredients for Instant Sooji Toast

For this recipe you can go for whole wheat bread/multi grain/white bread, as per your choice. I have seasoned it with some red chili powder etc. You can add any seasoning/ginger/chillies, if you want to experiment with the flavours. I have used the common and easily available vegetables. You can add the vegetables such as peas, carrot, cabbage etc.

How To Make Instant Sooji Toast

1. In a bowl take 1/2 cup semolina (sooji).

2. Add 1/2 cup yogurt and salt to taste.

3. Mix everything well.

4. Leave it for 10 minutes.

5. Cut the edges of the bread slices.

6. Roast the bread slices lightly, with very little oil. Keep aside.

7. After 10 minutes, add 1/2 cup chopped vegetables to semolina and yogurt batter.

8. Add 1/4 tsp red chilli powder and mix everything well.

9. Apply the spread on the toasted slice.

10. Heat a skillet/pan and drizzle few drops of oil. Place the toast on it.

11. Cook till it turns golden.

12. Flip and cook from the other side too, till it turns golden.

13. Place on perforated plate so that the instant sooji toast doesn’t get soggy.
