What is paneer paratha?

Paneer paratha Paneer paratha is shallow fried Indian flatbread that is stuffed with cottage cheese i.e. paneer mixture. This particular recipe has spicy and tangy, in fact, chatpati stuffing along with the bites of onions and green chilies and sharpness of ginger. It gets an awesome kick due to Maggi magic masala that makes the otherwise bland paneer quite lip smacking.

Another important ingredient in this particular recipe is Maggi magic masala. It is easily available at grocery stores in small sachets. It is a mix of spices and adds a very distinct and particular flavor whenever added to any dish. No other spice has been added in the mixture, Maggi magic masala takes care of everything.

How to Make Paneer Paratha

1. In a mixing bowl add ½ cup crumbled paneer. Add 1 small chopped onion, handful of chopped coriander, 1 chopped green chilli and 1” piece of grated ginger. Add 1 sachet of maggi magic masala. Mix everything.

2. Take a portion of dough. Roll it. Put 2-3 tbsp stuffing. Seal it. Roll.

3. Heat a skillet or pan. Once it is hot put the paratha on it. Once it is slightly cooked, flip and cook from the other side too. Thereafter apply oil on both the sides. And fry till golden brown from both the sides.

4. Grease hot paneer paratha with butter or ghee. Serve with ketchup or chutney.
