Potato Cheese Sandwich – It is a simple yet delectable sandwich made with, as the name suggests, buttered bread, boiled potato and cheese, with a hint of tomato ketch up. The crunchy bread and the melting cheese make a great combination.
You can add vegetables of your choice but then it won’t be “potato cheese” sandwich ;). You can add green chutney, chat masala, oregano, chilli flakes or garlic chutney to add different flavours.

INGREDIENTS FOR POTATO CHEESE SANDWICH
- 8 bread slices (sides removed)
- 8 tsp butter
- 4 tsp tomato ketchup
- 16 thick boiled potato slices
- 1 tsp chaat masala (or as required)
- 4 cheese slices
- Butter for cooking sandwiches
HOW TO MAKE POTATO CHEESE SANDWICH
1. Prepare bread slice
Take two slices. Apply 1 tsp butter on each slice. Apply 1/2 tsp ketchup on each slice.
2. Arrange potato slices
On one slice of bread put 4 potato slices. Sprinkle some chaat masala.
3. Add cheese slice
Place a cheese slice on the potato slices. Cover with another buttered slice.
4. Cook sandwich
Grill the sandwich using butter
5. Bon appétit
Enjoy with some potato chips and ketch up.
- You can used grated cheese and mashed potatoes.
- You can use pizza cheese slices for better results.
