What is cheese corn sandwich?

Cheese Corn Sandwich is a sandwich which has the creaminess of cheese and bite of corn, the savory flavour of cheese and sweet flavour of sweet corn. Cheese Corn Sandwich is very simple and easy to fix. It works as a wonderful tiffin option for kids. Because I have yet to see a kid who doesn’t like cheese or corn. And I have yet to see a mom who is not in a hurry while packing her kid’s lunch ;). So this quick and delicious sandwich is a winner.

Let’s talk about the ingredients for cheese corn sandwich

Sandwiches are versatile. They offer lots of choice. Choose your bread, your favourite cheese, your favourite vegetable, your favourite dressing etc etc etc. In this cheese corn sandwich recipe, I have used white bread, butter, pizza sauce and grated processed cheese and obviously sweet corn. You can add other vegetables too such as onions, tomatoes, bell peppers etc. But don’t omit sweet corn and if you do, don’t call it cheese corn sandwich ;).

How To Make Cheese Corn Sandwich

1. Do the preparations : Always refrigerate the cheese if you plan to grate it. Use a thick grater. Sprinkle little all purpose flour on the grated cheese. Also keep the grated cheese refrigerated till further use. We are doing this exercise to prevent the cheese from sticking together. This problem is more with mozzarella cheese. So you can use these tips while working with mozzarella. If using sweet corn kernels from the cob boil them after scrapping to make a little tender. If using frozen sweet corn kernels, use them directly. Mix grated cheese and sweet corn.

Hi! I am CA Vini Mehta. A Chartered Accountant by profession, a food blogger by passion! First of all, I would like to thank you for stopping by at Viniscookbook, I hope you have a good time. Here, yo...u will find the recipes which have been tried, at times re-tried in my kitchen and relished on the dining table. I am mother of two kids and the wife of a person with a high and selective taste sense, so basically anything, before finding its place on the blog, has many levels to cross and clear. This journey started a couple of years back. Before that I was making the most usual kind of food. The only experiment used to be asking my mother how to make something new or different☺. Then, one day, I tried a recipe for butter cookies. And they did not get to go in the container as they were over before I could store them. That day I was introduced to the joy of experimenting with recipes. And I loved everything else that followed especially garnishing and photographing food. I am still not well versed with the photography dos and don’ts but I love to experiment and learn, be it photography or cooking. Hope you too enjoy this journey as much as I do☺! Stay healthy, stay tuned!.
