Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe, ice creams as such need no introduction but here we can talk about the texture of the ice cream made using this recipe. It is a smooth, soft and delicious ice cream with a flavour loved by one and all, vanilla. ANd the best part is that it calls for just 3 ingredients and 10-12 minutes of yours and a few hours of your freezer (obviously).

There are zillions of recipes for ice cream on the internet, using different ingredients and different methods. I was making ice cream for the first time so I chose the one with minimum ingredients and easiest method, without compromising on the taste (in case of ice cream it is okay to be greedy). The recipe uses heavy cream, condensed milk and vanilla extract. I used homemade condensed milk. I used an electric beater to thicken the cream. You can also use a hand blender or a mixer jar.

How To Make Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

1. Cold cream beats better. So make sure to refrigerate it well before use. Chill the bowl and blades of the beater (or mixer jar or hand blender, if using that) in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.

2. In a bowl add 200 g heavy cream. In a larger bowl add enough ice cubes. Place the bowl with cream in the bowl with ice.

3. Beat the cream for 10-12 minutes at the highest speed of the electric beater. The cream will start to thicken. Be patient and keep beating. After beating the cream should no longer be runny. It will form soft peaks.

Hi! I am CA Vini Mehta. A Chartered Accountant by profession, a food blogger by passion! First of all, I would like to thank you for stopping by at Viniscookbook, I hope you have a good time. Here, yo...u will find the recipes which have been tried, at times re-tried in my kitchen and relished on the dining table. I am mother of two kids and the wife of a person with a high and selective taste sense, so basically anything, before finding its place on the blog, has many levels to cross and clear. This journey started a couple of years back. Before that I was making the most usual kind of food. The only experiment used to be asking my mother how to make something new or different☺. Then, one day, I tried a recipe for butter cookies. And they did not get to go in the container as they were over before I could store them. That day I was introduced to the joy of experimenting with recipes. And I loved everything else that followed especially garnishing and photographing food. I am still not well versed with the photography dos and don’ts but I love to experiment and learn, be it photography or cooking. Hope you too enjoy this journey as much as I do☺! Stay healthy, stay tuned!.
