This recipe for bhatura calls for

Bread slices: I have used white bread and white bread would give the best results.
Other ingredients: Apart from bread, all-purpose flour baking soda, baking powder, semolina etc have been used.

How To Make Bread Bhatura

1. Remove the edges of 5 bread slices

2. Break into pieces and add to a grinder jar

3. Grind without adding any water

4. Transfer the bread crumbs in a mixing bowl

5. Add 1 cup maida, 1/4 cup semolina (sooji), 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1/2 baking powder, 1 tsp sugar, and 1/4 tsp salt

6. Mix very well

7. Add 1 tsp oil and mix well

8. Gradually add 1 cup yogurt

9. Bring the dough together

10. Knead for 5-7 minutes

11. Make smooth dough

12. Take ball size dough and roll it with the help of rolling pin

13. Now heat oil in karahi for frying

15. After one minute flip the side

16. Fry bhatura in oil till its color changes to light golden
