Malai Ladoo Recipe
Malai ladoo is a mildly sweet Indian sweet that is very soft and “melts in the mouth” with the hints of kewra and cardamom. It is made up of cottage cheese (paneer) and condensed milk and is very quick and easy to make. It is ready in no time without any efforts at all. This year I made these for Ganesh Chaturthi and they were loved by my Gannu.
Let’s talk about the ingredients for Malai Ladoo
Malai Ladoo calls for cottage cheese and condensed milk. For the flavoring, I have used kewra water and cardamom. I always use homemade paneer and homemade condensed milk for this recipe.
Ingredients for Malai Ladoo Recipes
- ½ cup condensed milk
- 250 g cottage cheese (paneer)
- 2-3 drops of kewra essence
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- Chopped pistachio for garnishing
How to make Ladoo Recipes
- Churn paneer
Put 250 g paneer in a mixer. Pulse it once.
- Cook paneer and condensed milk till done
In a pan add paneer and 1/2 cup condensed milk. Cook on low flame till it leaves sides. Add ½ tsp cardamom powder. Mix.
- Cool and shape
Take out the mixture in a plate. Let it cool down. Add 2-3 drops of kewra essence and mix. Take a portion and make Ladoo with it.
- Bon appétit
Garnish with chopped pistachio. Refrigerate for half an hour. Make them for any special occasion.
- You can shape them as modak and make malai modak.
- You can add rose water to flavor Malai ladoo.
