Mango Milkshake Recipe | How to make Mango Milkshake

What is Mango Milkshake?

One of the many reasons we love summers is mango milkshake. This gorgeously yellow milkshake prepared using fresh mangoes is something loved by one and all. What is important is to wait for the correct mangoes and when the same is available, the first thing that is prepared is mango milkshake. It is very easy and simple to prepare, as most of the milkshakes. This recipe doesn’t call for any special ingredients such as ice cream etc. The pulp of the mangoes gives the necessary smoothness to the milkshake.

Let’s talk about the ingredients for Mango Milkshake Recipe

  • Mangoes: Correct mangoes, as I mentioned earlier, are indispensable for a good mango milkshake. My favorite mangoes for mango milkshake recipe are Alphonso. Nowadays Alphonso is available across India. What is important is that the mango should be juicy and not too pulpy and should not be too fibrous.
  • Sweetener: The quantity of sweetener required depends on the sweetness of the mangoes used. I would again recommend using simple syrups for your milkshakes. However, you can use sugar, anytime!
  • Milk: I personally do not like full-fat milk for my mango milkshakes because mangoes take good care of the consistency of the milkshake. Mango milkshake is thick and smooth because of the mango pulp. We don’t need other factors to make it better. The consistency of mango milkshake varies according to the type of mangoes used. Do not add too much milk to adjust the same otherwise the consistency will be okay but the taste of milkshake will be too milky. Add ice instead.
  • Mango bites: Yes, strongly recommended! Add in few small pieces of mango to your milkshake and you will love the sweet and juicy bite of mango.

Hi! I am CA Vini Mehta. A Chartered Accountant by profession, a food blogger by passion! First of all, I would like to thank you for stopping by at Viniscookbook, I hope you have a good time. Here, yo...u will find the recipes which have been tried, at times re-tried in my kitchen and relished on the dining table. I am mother of two kids and the wife of a person with a high and selective taste sense, so basically anything, before finding its place on the blog, has many levels to cross and clear. This journey started a couple of years back. Before that I was making the most usual kind of food. The only experiment used to be asking my mother how to make something new or different☺. Then, one day, I tried a recipe for butter cookies. And they did not get to go in the container as they were over before I could store them. That day I was introduced to the joy of experimenting with recipes. And I loved everything else that followed especially garnishing and photographing food. I am still not well versed with the photography dos and don’ts but I love to experiment and learn, be it photography or cooking. Hope you too enjoy this journey as much as I do☺! Stay healthy, stay tuned!.
