Saffron: There are varieties of saffron available. You know how strong your saffron is. And if you don’t know, start off with a little quantity and gradually increase the quantity. I have used 5 saffron strands for 1 cup of milk and it worked great.
Milk: Full-fat milk works best for this recipe. However, you can make it with whatever variety of milk that is available.
Sugar: Sugar needs to be added as per taste. You can totally skip the sugar If you don’t like sugar in milk.
Flavoring: You can add cardamom to flavor saffron milk. You can also add nutmeg. For garnishing, I have used slivered almonds and pistachios, along with a couple of saffron strands.
