Pakora is basically a deep-fried snack prepared with gram flour (besan). Aloo pakora is a slice of potato coated with gram flour batter and deep-fried to make crispy fritters. This recipe for aloo pakora makes aloo ke pakode with a twist. This aloo ke pakode has a cheesy bite to them. Along with that these fritters have a hint of garlic butter. Yes, you heard that right. These are basically aloo ke pakode with an Italian twist. If you want to take a break from the regular aloo pakora, you should try this recipe. It can also be prepared as a party appetizer or for kitty party etc. Serve it with some tomato ketchup and be sorted.

Aloo Ke Pakode- Ingredients required

Boiled Potatoes: Small to medium-sized potatoes work the best for this recipe. The recipe calls for boiled potatoes instead of the raw ones. Make sure to chill the boiled potatoes in the refrigerator before using them. That way it is easier to slice them.

Gram flour: Besan is used to make aloo pakora. The regular variety of gram flour has been used. You can add 2 tbsp of rice flour for 1 cup of gram flour for a crispier version of these or any pakoras.

Cheese: Slices of processed cheese have been cut into cubes and used. You can also use cubes of processed cheese or mozzarella cheese. Just grate the same and use it in the recipe.

Flavoring: Garlic butter has been used to flavor the aloo ke pakode. You can use the herbs of your choice.

2.Place potato slices on a board. Season with little salt.

Tips:Kindly ignore the poor quality board. It was discarded after this recipe.

3.Apply garlic butter on potato slices.

4.Place cheese slices cubes on potato slices.

5.Cover with another potato slice lined with garlic butter.

6.Dip in the gram flour (besan) batter.

7.Coat it properly.

8.Put in hot oil.

9.Fry till golden brown.
