Vanilla Milkshake Without Ice Cream | How to make Vanilla Milkshake

What is Vanilla Milkshake?

Smooth and creamy milkshake with the candied flavor of vanilla is Vanilla Milkshake without ice cream. This recipe gives thick and rich milkshake without the use of any ice cream, without compromising on the texture of the milkshake. Generally, ice cream is added, in fact, used as the main ingredient to make a vanilla milkshake. However, in this recipe, heavy cream has been used and you will love what it does to the milkshake.

Let’s talk about the ingredients for Vanilla Milkshake Recipe

No ice cream is used but the result is a creamy and thick milkshake. This been achieved with the use of heavy cream. 2 tbsp of heavy cream has been added per glass of milkshake. I was happy with the level of richness it gave. You can always add more. I always have sugar syrup in the refrigerator and I use that for all the cold beverages. It not only reduces the preparation time but also gives better results. Always use extract instead of essence. The extract gives much better flavor but at the same time, it is important to keep a check on the quantity of extract used, as excess might make the milkshake bitter/pungent. Vanilla milkshake has no color of its own. It might appear boring and non-appetizing. Thus it is important to pep up the milkshake with simple sprinkles etc. Other than using correct ingredients it is equally important to blend the shake well. You can use a hand blender, food processor, mixer, etc. However, using hand whisk won’t give the desired results.

Hi! I am CA Vini Mehta. A Chartered Accountant by profession, a food blogger by passion! First of all, I would like to thank you for stopping by at Viniscookbook, I hope you have a good time. Here, yo...u will find the recipes which have been tried, at times re-tried in my kitchen and relished on the dining table. I am mother of two kids and the wife of a person with a high and selective taste sense, so basically anything, before finding its place on the blog, has many levels to cross and clear. This journey started a couple of years back. Before that I was making the most usual kind of food. The only experiment used to be asking my mother how to make something new or different☺. Then, one day, I tried a recipe for butter cookies. And they did not get to go in the container as they were over before I could store them. That day I was introduced to the joy of experimenting with recipes. And I loved everything else that followed especially garnishing and photographing food. I am still not well versed with the photography dos and don’ts but I love to experiment and learn, be it photography or cooking. Hope you too enjoy this journey as much as I do☺! Stay healthy, stay tuned!.
