Eggless Whole Wheat Brownie Recipe – It is Daughter’s Day today. I wanted to bake something for my daughter Amy. The kind of chocolate lover she is, nothing can please her more than a piece of chocolaty brownie. And luckily she is lucky. I had recently seen this recipe at Home Bakers Guild on Facebook. But then I was sceptical as to make it with whole wheat. But as every recipe, even this one came to me and whispered … you be good to me and I’ll be good to you. I agreed. I was good to it, I followed it properly but the recipe was not good to me. It was great.
I have used walnuts and chocolate chunks to garnish the brownie. I didn’t add it to the brownie because Amy didn’t let me. Yes while I was preparing this brownie Amy came in the kitchen. You’ll see her hands in the pictures of the recipe. And she did not let me add any nuts or chocolates in the brownie as she doesn’t like it that way. The discussion ends here. You can even add some or a lot of nuts of your choice and chocolate chunks/chips to the brownie, if your Amy, I mean your daughter likes it or allows that.

After becoming parents our life revolves around our kids. What is one suppose to do on such special day? Love their daughter, they do, always.
Yes the special days are for the expression of the love you feel… which you might not have expressed since… since long.
Go to her, cuddle her, say her “I love you”. A smile that starts from the lips and ends into the eyes will flash on her face.
Make a card for her. Remember those messy yet deadly cute cards she made for you because she couldn’t buy you present. It’s time to give her the return card.
Tell her some stories from her childhood and days later you’ll see her talking to your guests and telling them the same story. You’ll see something more than just that story. You’ll see her excitement.
She is your child. You and only you know how to make her feel loved! Do that.
To me my daughter is…
Daddy girl and Mommy’s world
