Eggless Butter Cookies Recipe | Cookies without baking soda/baking powder

Eggless Butter Cookies Recipe are the simplest cookies with awesome buttery taste. Eggless sugar cookies call for just 3 ingredients- butter (obviously) all purpose flour and sugar.

This is a very basic butter biscuit recipes. You can customize them easily with a handful of tutti frutti, chocolate chips, dry fruits etc.

Nothing says better than the aroma of baking cookies recipe. And I realized this with these soft butter cookies.

How To Make Eggless Butter Cookies

1. Preparations : Pre-heat the oven to 180 C (160 C in case of convection or fan oven). Line a baking dish with a parchment paper.

2.mix butter and sugar : In a bowl add 115 g chilled butter and 60 g powdered sugar.

3. mix butter and sugar : Mix it well till light and fluffy.

4. Add 1 ¾ cup all-purpose flour : Add 175 g cup all-purpose flour and mix to form breadcrumbs like texture.

5. Bind the dough : Use hands to form the dough. The heat of hands helps to make it into a dough.

6. Bind the dough : However, add 1 or 2 tsp milk if required.

7. Cut into cookies : Roll the dough

8.Cut into cookies : cut into cookies of the desired shape.

9. Chill the eggless butter cookies : Chill for an hour.

Tips:Chilling ensures the cookies don’t lose their shape.

10. Bake the eggless butter cookies : Bake the cookies at 180 C (160 C in case of fan or convection oven) for 10-12 minutes or till the edges turn golden.

11. Bake the eggless butter cookies : Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack and let them cool down completely.
