Gulkand Milkshake needs chilled milk, some gulkand and some rose quash or rose syrup for added flavour and colour and sweetness. Gulkand is easily available in the stores. I like some chunks of gulkand so I don’t blend it too much. However if you want your shake absolutely smooth you can first blend gulkand with some milk and can also pass it through a sieve before serving. Further you may add chopped nuts of your choice.

Ingredients for Gulkand Milkshake Recipe

  • 2 cups milk, boiled and chilled
  • 2 tbsp rose petal jam (gulkand)
  • 2 tbsp rose syrup/squash

How to make Gulkand Milkshake

1. Mix all ingredients

In a tall utensil add 2 cups boiled and chilled milk. Add 2 tbsp rose syrup. Add 2 tbsp gulkand.

Tip: Keep milk in freezer for ½ and hour or till it gets some ice crystals before using for Gulkand Milkshake.

2. Blend well

Using a mixer/hand blender, blend everything well.

Tip: After blending it properly, just blend for a couple of minutes only on the top or surface. It will give lots of froth.
