Gulkand is basically rose preserve, easily available with the grocers and online in India. It has a very cooling effect. It is combined with milk to make a very refreshing milkshake. Gulkand milkshake is very simple and easy to make, as most of the milkshakes.
Gulkand Milkshake needs chilled milk, some gulkand, and some rose to quash or rose syrup for added flavor and color and sweetness. Instead, you can use sugar syrup. Gulkand is easily available in the stores. I like some chunks of gulkand so I don’t blend it too much. However, if you want your shake absolutely smooth you can first blend gulkand with some milk and can also pass it through a sieve before serving. Further, you may add chopped nuts of your choice.
