Badam Milkshake Recipe – Badam Milkshake is a smooth and thick shake with bites and richness of almonds. It is a very energizing drink. Also it is very refreshing. Almonds are very nutritive. Badam Milkshake is an awesome way to introduce almonds in your kids’ diet.
Let’s talk about the ingredients for Badam Shake
Badam means almonds. So almonds and milk go into it. To thicken the shake I have used custard powder. Custard powder not only gives a great texture to the shake but also gives it a nice flavour. The best way to use almonds is to soak them for 6-8 hours or overnight. Soaking makes their digestion and absorption of nutrients easier.

Ingredients for Badam Milkshake
- 2 cups milk
- 20 almonds, soaked overnight/for 6-8 hours
- 4 tbsp sugar (adjust as per taste)
- 2 tsp custard powder dissolved in 4 tsp cold milk
How to make Badam/ Almond Shake
1. Boil milk and add custard solution and sugar
Take 2 cups of milk in a pan. Bring it to a boil. Switch off the flame and add 2 tsp custard powder dissolved in 4 tsp cold milk and 4 tbsp sugar.
2. Add almonds
Remove the skin of almonds. Put on the flame and add de-skinned almonds to milk. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
3. Cool, blend and chill
Let the milk cool down. Thereafter blend it. Do not blend it too much. We want some chunks of almonds there. Pulse it twice or thrice. Refrigerate it.
4. Bon appétit
Garnish with some sliced or whole almonds and serve.
