All-Time Best Dinner Recipes

On weekends we either eat outside or eat something Dhaba style or restaurant style at home, at least one meal. Saturday dinner recipes or Sunday brunch has got to be a bit elaborate. Here I am sharing a combination of dishes that complement each other very well. We often order this combination at the highway dhabas and love it. You too certainly try it and do let us know how you liked it?

  1. Dhaba Style Aloo Paratha

Aloo paratha is already a crowd pleaser. Every one relishes it. And this is the reason I have different aloo paratha recipes such as easy aloo paratha, restaurant-style aloo paratha and more. Dhaba style aloo paratha has the flavors of pomegranate seeds, coriander seeds and more. It has the crunch of onions, making it absolutely droolsome.

  1. Amritsari Dhaba Dal

Don’t be misguided by the word dal. Amritsari dhaba dal has more to it. I know many of us don’t like to eat dal on weekends but when you will try this recipe you would love to make an exception. Aloo paratha and dhaba dal is a great combination and same can be extended by adding jeera rice to it.

  1. Pudina Raita

Parathas and raitas go hand in hand. This mint raita recipe is so refreshing and delightful that it will be a repeated thing in your meals. I love the way it balances the meal comprising of spicy and oily preparations. And if you can prepare in advance, make this green chutney too, it will tickle up the whole meal.

  1. Sirke Wala Pyaaz

No, it is not just the combination of sirka i.e. vinegar and pyaaz as in onions. Check out the recipe to see what’s it all about? The best part about this salad is that just prepare and refrigerate it and it shall stay good for up to one week.

Hi! I am CA Vini Mehta. A Chartered Accountant by profession, a food blogger by passion! First of all, I would like to thank you for stopping by at Viniscookbook, I hope you have a good time. Here, yo...u will find the recipes which have been tried, at times re-tried in my kitchen and relished on the dining table. I am mother of two kids and the wife of a person with a high and selective taste sense, so basically anything, before finding its place on the blog, has many levels to cross and clear. This journey started a couple of years back. Before that I was making the most usual kind of food. The only experiment used to be asking my mother how to make something new or different☺. Then, one day, I tried a recipe for butter cookies. And they did not get to go in the container as they were over before I could store them. That day I was introduced to the joy of experimenting with recipes. And I loved everything else that followed especially garnishing and photographing food. I am still not well versed with the photography dos and don’ts but I love to experiment and learn, be it photography or cooking. Hope you too enjoy this journey as much as I do☺! Stay healthy, stay tuned!.
