Meal Idea: Kadhi and instant idli

Some dishes combinations are meant to be. For instance rajma chawal, aloo poori and many more! Likewise we have always seen kadhi being serve with rice or chapatti and idli with sambar or chutney. However I recently tried a particular combination which is not the most common one but it worked. I made instant suji idli and served them with besan ki kadhi. This instant meal recipe was liked by one and all in the family. Suji idli and besan ki kadhi can be prepared not only for a light lunch or dinner but this meal recipe is a good brunch or high tea option too.

Other meal idea is the Karwa Chauth Meal Idea. This meal has one of the most popular combinations, the kind of combinations I had mentioned at the starting of this post. Do not wait for karwa chauth to try it out. Another one is my favourite, it is a weekend meal idea. This one is totally droolsome. I plan to come up with one meal idea every week. Instant sooji idli 


This rava idli recipe gives very pillowy idlis. You press them and they bounce back, so spongy! I have been using this recipe to make suji idli for quite some time now and the recipe has never disappointed me. Besan ki Kadhibesan ki kadhi

Generally kadhi is a combination of yogurt, gram flour and water. However this kadhi recipe using besan is very convenient. It gives gentle kadhi, which has runny consistency, perfect to dunk in soft suji idli. Besan ki kadhi is enough spiced to make for a peppy meal.
