Sprouts chaat is tangy and healthy snack prepared using sprouted moong beans (sabut moong) and sprouted black chickpeas (kala chana). It is flavoured with some coriander chutney and crunchy vegetables i.e. chopped onions, tomatoes etc. To balance the flavour sweet tamarind chutney is added which not it gives some sweetness but also the kick of tamarind. Recipe using sprouts: As is with most of the sprouts based recipes, so is with this one; that you can use any sprouts be it moth, moong, kala chana etc.
Chutneys for chaat: This trio is always in my refrigerator i.e. green chutney for chaat, sweet tamarind chutney for chaat and garlic chutney for chaat. And believe me these are absolutely indispensable for any chaat recipe. just like homemade chaat masala.
1. In a mixing bowl take 1 cup assorted sprouts
2. Add 2 tbsp chopped onions
3. Now add 2 tbsp chopped tomatoes
4. Add 1 tbsp boiled and chopped potatoes
5. Sprinkle 1 tsp chaat masala and salt to taste
6. Add 2 tsp green chutney
7. Now add 1/2 tsp imli ki chutney
8. Add 1/4 cup namkeen boondi
9. Mix all ingredients very well
10. Check the seasoning
11. Bon Appetit: Garnish with Sev and serve immediately

• 2 tsp Green Chutney
• 1/4 cup namkeen boondi
• 1/2 tsp Imli ki Chutney
• Sev for garnishing
