Meal Idea: Kaddu ki sabji, poori, raita, meethi boondi

Kaddu or pumpkin is prepared in a special way that bursts with flavors for weddings and festivals in the state of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. This particular recipe teams up very well with poori. To enhance the menu, boondi raita is also served with khatta meetha kaddu and poori. Since kaddu and poori are prepared on auspicious occasions, sweets such as meethi boondi or imarti are also served along with it.

Here is a meal idea, which doesn’t call for much time or too many ingredients still give a traditional meal comprising of khatta meetha kaddu, perfectly puffed poori, boondi raita, and sweet boondi. If in rush or not in a mood to make sweet boondi you can get the same from the market but do not skip it.
