What is Veg Fried Rice?

Rice cooked with crunchy vegetables, flavored with garlic, and seasoned with chili sauce, soy sauce; vinegar, etc. is vegetable fried rice. This recipe for veg fried rice is a very easy and quick recipe if you have cooked rice handy. Further, this veg fried rice can be customised as per the taste and availability of vegetables etc. The sauces can be adjusted as per taste, and the fried rice can be made tangier or spicier as per liking.

Let’s talk about the fried rice ingredients

Whenever I make rice, I make some extra. There are so many ways in which rice can be used. Not only can rice be converted into some different rice preparation, but these can also be used to make rice paratha, rice pakoda, etc.

Following ingredients are required for easy fried rice recipe:

Cooked rice: For this recipe, I have used the steamed rice. These were cooked and refrigerated for 15-20 minutes. This made the rice firm and they were easy to cook.

Vegetables: In the recipe spring onions, carrots have been used. Garlic has been used to add flavor to the dish. You can also add green chilies, chopped or paste. Further, you can also add vegetables such as mushrooms, cabbage, etc.

Sauces: Soy sauce, red chili sauce, etc are indispensable for Indo Chinese recipes. In this fried rice recipe too much soy sauce has not been used. Little vinegar has also been used which adds a good kick to the rice preparation. You can adjust the sauces as per your taste.
