Let’s talk about the ingredients for Custard Trifle Recipe

perfect custard: it is important that a thick custard is used to prepare trifle.
other ingredients: different layers of custard include cake, fruits, roasted nuts, and whipped cream. To increase the fruitiness I have also added mango pulp. I have used homemade eggless tutti frutti cake.

How to make Custard Trifle

1. Boil 1 liter milk and thereafter simmer for 10-12 minutes

2. Switch off the flame and add 1/2 cup sugar or as per taste and stir well

3. Add prepared mixture of 6 tbsp custard powder and 6 tbsp milk and stir continuously so that there are no lumps

4. Cook custard on low flame for next 5-7 minutes or till it thickens

5. Pour custard in a serving bowl. Refrigerate for an hour

6. Or in short glasses. Refrigerate for an hour

7. Add layer of cake

8. For glasses serving, add chopped cake slices

9. Add mango puree in the glasses

10. Add mango puree in the bowl

11. Add chopped apple and fresh pomegranate in the bowl

12. Add chopped apple and fresh pomegranate seeds in the glasses

13. Add whipping cream in glasses

14. Add whipping cream in the bowl

15. Garnish with apple and kiwi slices and roasted chopped nuts. Chill for at least 2 hours or till chilled

16. Refrigerate the bowl of trifle till chilled

17. Bon Appetit Serve cold
