What is Bhelpuri?

Bhelpuri is a great snack made with puffed rice i.e. murmura. It has the bites of onions, tomatoes, potatoes and the crunch of papdi and sev. Let’s talk about the Ingredients for Bhel Puri

Murmura i.e. puffed rice: I have slightly dry roasted murmura to make it crunchier.
Chutneys for chaat: Coriander chutney, garlic chutney and tamarind chutney are the lifeline of bhelpuri. The add great flaovurs to it.
Papdi: I love to use homemade papdi for my chaat recipes. They are fresh and so crisp.

How To Make Bhelpuri

1. Take 2 cups puffed rice in a pan and dry roast them for a couple of minutes


2. Transfer in a large bowl and let them cool down


3. Collect chopped vegetables that is 1 cup boiled and chopped potato, 1/2 cup onion chopped and 1/2 cup chopped tomato


4. Sprinkle chaat masala as per taste


5. Break 4 papdis and add to murmura


6. Add 1/4 cup sev


7. Sprinkle salt and red chili powder as per taste


8. Add chopped and seasoned onions, tomatoes and potatoes


9. Add 1/2 tbsp garlic chutney, 1 tbsp green chutney and 2 tbsp tamarind chutney. Mix well


10. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves and sev


11. Bon Appetit Serve bhelpuri immediately
